Marquette, MI – November 28, 2023 – On our latest update with Active Physical Therapy we heard more about a new service they are developing called “Active In The Home”.
Andreae said that the new program is similar to home health services, but under different conditions.
She explained that typically, in order to qualify for home health services under Medicare part A, you have to qualify to be home bound. However, Active can now see someone as an “outpatient” in the home under Medicare Part B and there are no qualifications.
Andreae said the new service will help to bridge a gap between patients who are not quite ready or able to make it to outpatient care but don’t qualify as home bound under Medicare part A services.
