Marquette, MI – June 29, 2026 – The Marquette City Commission has a regular meeting this evening. The Commission will be holding a primarily administrative session with a relatively short agenda.
Marquette City Manager Karen Kovacs spoke about the meeting with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
Kovacs explained that the Commission will also be voting on applying for the city to be designated as an AARP Age-Friendly Community. That is a program which provides a structured framework for the city to assess community needs to support healthy a ing and accessibility.
The meeting is at 6:00pm at Commission Chambers at Marquette City Hall.
