Mark Evans and Gregg Nelson are back for another year of Negaunee Football on Sunny 101.9. The pair began games together in 2006 and after a few years away returned in 2016 to cover the Maize and Blue on Sunny 101.9 and online at www.sunny.fm.
Gregg is a lifetime Negaunee resident and coached the girls basketball teams at NHS for 20+ years winning several District and Regional titles. Several of his former players went on to excel in college hoops at various schools in NCAA Div II and III along with NAIA schools.
Mark is a Madison, Wisconsin native but now calls Negaunee home. His wife Dawn is President of The Negaunee Booster Club, and his stepson is in the marching band and runs cross country at NHS.
The two have been recognized for excellence by The Michigan Association of Broadcasters 5 times for their coverage of Negaunee Football.
