Marquette, MI – June 26, 2026 – Marquette County Sheriff Greg Zyburt is encouraging people to be smart and be safe over the upcoming extended 4th of July holiday weekend.
Zyburt shared some safety tips and more with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
Zyburt said that law enforcement will be out on the highways this holiday period keeping an eye out for drunk and drugged drivers, speeders and those who are driving erratically.
He also talked about keeping your head clear when using fireworks, going boating and visiting the beach and mentioned driving with extra awareness due to the increase of people visiting during the holiday.
