Dawn Evans – Show Host for Work Days on Sunny 101.9

Hi there! I’m Dawn Evans, the other Negaunee girl. I’m your hostess for your Sunny Workday! I’m a Negaunee graduate and have had my share of experiences living around the Midwest from Negaunee to Marquette, Marquette to Waukesha, Waukesha to Milwaukee, Milwaukee to Negaunee, Negaunee to Duluth, and Duluth to Negaunee (*whew*). I enjoy great concerts and have seen many different artists from all of genres. So, you may hear me mention where you can find different concerts from musicians who pop up during my show.

I’m married to a wonderful man and a Mom to a technology loving boy who is aspiring to be a computer coder when he gets older. As a family we enjoy going on adventures around the U.P. looking for waterfalls, visiting local touristy attractions, and taking in the scenery. Mark and I enjoy spending time visiting Big 10 football stadiums (I have 3 checked off my list), and watching great summer baseball like the Duluth Huskies, Wausau Woodchucks, Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, and will certainly be taking in the Green Bay Booyah. We also enjoy cooking, Negaunee Miner sports, and tasty beer.

I’m excited to be back on the air after a 7 year hiatus (I was on Sunny 101.9’s sister station, 103.3 WFXD once upon a time). Thanks for listening!
