Marquette – Negaunee, MI – September 2, 2016 – Today was day one of the Labor Day Weekend BBQ at Super One Foods and the turn out was great! We had a few of our guys from Great Lakes Radio out at both the Negaunee and Marquette locations to report back on the event right from the parking lot!
Joe took a trip up to Negaunee with the Sunny van to play music from 101.9 during lunch with Adam in Marquette rocking out near the WRUP van! For just $3 anyone who stopped by had the choice got a brat or hot dog, pop, and chips in Negaunee and Hamburger or brat, pop, and macaroni salad in Marquette.
The Super One Cook Out today was running to help raise funds for Marquette County’s animal shelter, UPAWS. All the proceeds raised from lunch will be donated the organization to help keep the doors open and the animals fed! UPAWS sent out volunteers to hang out with community members at the cook out today and chat about the UPAWS happenings.
During the cook out our radio guys caught up with the people with the best buys. Adam spoke with Pete, the Meat Manager at Super One Foods Marquette. Listen to audio clips of these interviews at the bottom of the post!
Super One has one more day of the Labor Day Weekend Cook Out going on tomorrow, Saturday September 3rd from 11-3 PM. Make sure you drop by and see us in the parking lot! Grab lunch and save with store wide savings at both locations. And don’t forget, while in the store, consider picking up a few things UPAWS could use off their wishlist and ask for a paper paw at check out!
