Marquette, MI – August 10, 2026 – The Marquette City Commission has a regular meeting this evening where they will be voting on a resolution to adopt a sustainable tourism plan for the city.
Marquette City Manager Karen Kovacs spoke about the resolution with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
Kovacs said the resolution, if approved, sets data-based guidelines and procedures to be used by the city to inform any future tourism related policy discussions and community investment priorities.
Tonight’s meeting of the Marquette City Commission is at 6:00 o’clock at Commission Chambers at Marquette City Hall.
