Marquette, MI – August 11, 2026 – The 6th Annual Blues on the Bay, an annual blues music festival, is being held this weekend at the historic Thunder Bay Inn in Big Bay, Michigan.
Bevins explained that the festival features live outdoor blues performances, local food and beverages, and regional artist lineups. He added that scheduled performers this weekend include regional acts like Jupiter Vinyl, the Flat Broke Blues Band, and Nicky T and the Snake Charmers from Detroit.
The festival is presented by the Friends of the Historic Thunder Bay Inn with support from the Marquette Area Blues Society and it runs Friday and Saturday.
This year’s lineup is:
906 Jazz and Blues Band (Fri 6-9)
Jupiter Vinyl (Sat 12:30-1:30)
Reverand Robert and Bones (Sat 2-3)
Nicky T and the Snake Charmers (Sat 3:30-4:30)
Flat Broke Blues Band (Sat 5-6:30)
The Detroit Blues Delegation (Sat 7-9)
