Gwinn Schools Seek To Fill Board Vacancy

    Gwinn, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – At their regular meeting last night, the Gwinn Area Community Schools Board of Education accepted the resignation of Board member Bill Nordeen.

    Nordeen’s resignation will be effective as of March 13th, and the Board is now seeking applications from community members to fill the vacancy.

    The person appointed to his seat will serve on the Board until December 31st of this year.

    At the time of the next regular school election this November, a permanent replacement will be elected to fill the remaining 2 years of the 6 year term.

    Those interested in filling the seat should submit a letter of interest to Gwinn School Board President Ron Lauren by Friday, February 26th.
