Marquette, MI – May 1, 2024 – Northern Michigan University President Dr. Brock Tessman stopped by our studios today to talk about the end of the semester, graduation and may other topics.
Tessman shared the update with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
Tessman discussed a wide array of topics, including a student encampment that has appeared on the Academic Mall on campus in protest of the Israel-Hamas war.
He also talked about the recently negotiated three-year agreement covering wage increases for AAUP Union faculty members and he shared his thoughts on graduation and end-of-semester events on campus.
Tessman also gave a brief update on construction projects that are either underway or in the final planning stage at the Marquette campus.
