Marquette, MI – October 27, 2025 – The Marquette City Commission has a regular meeting coming up this evening. The Commission is holding a pair of public hearings at the session, including one on the city’s proposed rezoning of a property at 1700 Division Street.
The other will focus on final administrative paperwork on the block grant for the project to demolish the former Marquette General Hospital buildings.
Kovacs added that the Commission will also be acting on a proposal to purchase a new snow plowing truck for the city at a price tag of $265,000.
The meeting is at 6:00pm at Commission Chambers at Marquette City Hall.
