Marquette, MI – August 14, 2024 – The Marquette Downtown Development Authority is preparing for the sounds of Marquette’s local musicians this summer with the return of the Music on Third series.
Bradford explained the series features sidewalk concerts held every third Thursday from June through September from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Third Street in Marquette’s Downtown District.
He added there are some street closures that will be going into effect with the series this season that are being done in the interest of safety of those coming to enjoy the music.
Bradford also talked about the DDA’s Social District which allows for alcohol consumption by adults of legal drinking age outside of bars and restaurants during the events.
