Marquette, MI – June 21, 2024 – The Marquette Regional History Center is kicking off a campaign next week during Marquette Art Week to retire the mortgage for their facility in downtown Marquette.
Osier explained it is the “Save Our History” campaign to raise the final $1.6 million to cover the museum’s mortgage.
Mercure shared some of the evening’s schedule and presentations and said it is at the Marquette Regional History Center on Tuesday, June 25th from 5:30-7:30pm, with the program at 6:00pm.
Osier also talked about the event showcasing and special exhibit called “Mapping Marquette’s Growth” running next week that will feature several maps on display showing the history and growth of Marquette.
