Marquette, MI – March 21, 2022 – An opportunity for young people across the region to have an immersive theater experience is coming this summer in Houghton at the U.P. Summer Theater Institute.
Thompson shared what the Institute is, where the idea for it came from and outlined what they will be doing this summer.
She explained that the program has both an onstage performance track and an offstage tech and design track and all components of the program will be held at the Rozsa Center for the Performing Arts at the Michigan Tech University Campus in Houghton, MI.
Thompson said the Institute is scheduled to begin with the onstage performance track on July 11th, 2022, and all of the related information can be found at the website www.upsummertheater.com.
