Why we love sports: The fans.

Well the BCS National Title game was everything that you’d hoped it would be, if you’re anti-SEC like myself.  The NFL playoffs were slightly exciting….I guess.  All I can say is this:  Go whichever AFC team steps up and goes to the super bowl.  I suppose I wouldn’t be too upset if the Seahawks pulled it out, but I can’t stand the thought of Pete Carrol winning a Super Bowl.  It should send chills up every Big 10 fan on Earth to think that he’ll do it in the pros now too.  Like I said though, as long as it isn’t the 49ers, I can’t complain.  Here we go though!  The week starts off a little thin, but you aren’t going to know what to do with yourself by the time the weekend rolls around.

Well there you have it ladies & gentlemen.  Tell your significant other that you are spoken for this weekend.  Tell the kids not to even touch the DVR, in any room if you have multiple.  There is enough college basketball, NFL playoffs, & NBA/NHL action to keep you entertained all through the days.  Be sure to head to the Berry Events Center at some point and support your local teams!  Have a good one fellas.
