I am so ready to fire up the grill and make some big burgers. We love hotdogs and burgers on the grill.
Today we are suppose to have Southwest winds of 15 to 25pmh with 65 degrees. Umm, grilled dogs and burgers in a southerly breeze while in the 60’s. This is heaven.
Now a new twist on the American favorite: Newfoundland Turtle Burgers.
ummm… First pack some Handmade ground beef patties, then top with sharp cheddar cheese, and wrap burger loosely in a bacon weave,
Next step, add hot dogs as the heads, legs with slits for toes and tail.
If it’s raining, place on an oven rack, covered loosely with foil and baked for 20-30 minutes at 400 degrees.
Best of all; you can do them on the grill, on the Barbee. Make A little crispy, not too crunchy…just how a turtle should be, right?
