Congratulations to the entire WKQS Sunny 101.9 FM team! Over the weekend, the Michigan Association of Broadcasters held its annual award dinner in Detroit, MI. Sunny 101.9 FM was mentioned in multiple categories as bests and/or merits.
Mark Evans and Walt Lindala of “Mark and Walt in the Morning” won many of the categories that helped qualify Sunny as a finalist. In the end, it came down to WKQS Sunny 101.9 FM winning the Station of the Year Award! The winners of each market will all be listed on the MAB website tomorrow, May 2nd.
