Marquette, MI – July 4, 2021 – After a long year of waiting for the fun Independence Day festivities, the parade and fireworks are finally back in full swing this year!
The parade was full of great floats and the streets were lined with crowds of people watching and kids grabbing for candy. After the parade Food Fest began in full force with tons of different food vendors from far and wide, all together at Mattson Lower Harbor. There was live music all day, including our very own Walt Lindala with his band The Flat Broke Blues Band!

Once the sun set and it was dark enough, the fireworks show began! Being shot off from the grand ol’ ore dock, the crowd at Lower Harbor and beyond had a great view. There were many unique and new ‘works, which one was your favorite? Take a look below at just some of the fireworks shot off tonight!
Happy Fourth of July, see you next year!
