Marquette, MI – (11/06/19) – The Northern Michigan University Upper Peninsula Cybersecurity Institute is the only facility of its kind in the U.P. and one of six statewide.
Stephanie Zadroga-Langlois, Director of Continuing Education and Workforce Development at NMU, joined Mark & Walt in the Morning today for Wildcat Wednesday to talk about the Institute and what it’s all about.
Zadroga-Langlois explained that it offers non-degree and industry credentials for emerging careers in cybersecurity and supplements the university’s current cyber defense bachelor’s degree program. She added that it also operates as a physical extension of the Michigan Cyber Range, which is the nation’s largest unclassified cyber range.
