Marquette, MI – 03/28/2019
Every morning I drive in on US 41 from Negaunee to Marquette, and every morning I wonder to myself “did I miss a memo?” “When did the speed limit increase to 65mph?”
It didn’t, at least not on what we call The Corridor.” So, just so I can say this here…..THE SPEED LIMIT ON US 41 IS STILL 55 MPH!!! THANK YOU!!!
Now, I do understand that certain areas of two-lane highways in The U.P. were recently increased from 55mph to 65mph. US 2 along the Lake Michigan shoreline is one area, M-28 both East and West of Marquette were increased as well. That being said, US 41 in to Marquette is still 55 mph and will not be increasing any time soon!!
So, if the Marquette County Sheriff’s Department and The Michigan State Police want to add to the State and County Budget – posting a few Deputies/Troopers near TV 6…………..
Just sayin’
