Negaunee, Michigan – March 26, 2019 – My beloved yoga studio, Honor Yoga in Negaunee, will be hosting a special yoga workshop on Saturday, April 6th from 1-3PM at Honor Yoga inside the Negaunee City Center (211 Iron St., Negaunee).
The workshop will be led by nine Honor Yoga Teacher Trainees (myself included!!!), who have recently undergone an immersive training since June 2018 in pursuit of their 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Certification.
I wrote about this experience extensively – check out past articles on it!
The upcoming two-hour workshop will include a 60-minute Baptiste Inspired Journey Into Power Yoga Flow Class, meditation, and guided discussion. Attendees will do a deep dive into meditation practices, what an intention is and how to set one, and each yogi will leave with a special gift!
Attendees should bring a yoga mat,, a water bottle, a journal, and a pen. If someone wishes to attend and they do not own a yoga mat, a limited number of yoga mats are available to borrow at the studio on a first come, first serve basis.
The workshop is open to the public and is donation-based. All donations received from this workshop will benefit Africa Yoga Project. Learn more about Africa Yoga Project at www.africayogaproject.org.
