Marquette, MI – June 19, 2026 – The Marquette Arts & Music Wellness Lions Club is holding a special celebration to mark their first anniversary in Marquette.
Davis explained that as an officially chartered Lion’s Club, the MAMWLC blends the healing power of the arts with the world’s most recognized service club model.
LaJoie said the club is celebrating their one-year anniversary at a musical performance and fundraiser on Wednesday, 6/24, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Blackrocks Brewery in Marquette.
The event will feature several musical performers, local art and ways to give donations. The proceeds raised will be split by the MAMWLC and Northwoods Air Lifeline, which provides free medical flights for U.P. cancer-stricken children and other residents who need to reach distant care.
