
Marquette, MI – April 2, 2026 – As another possible severe storm tracks across Upper Michigan, UP Health System-Marquette is ready for related incidents needing emergency services.
Jodi McCollum, Director of Trauma Services, spoke about it with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
McCollum talked about the hospital’s approach to emergency preparedness on a year round basis and how they prepare for a wide range of situations from winter storms and flooding to mass casualty incidents and public health emergencies.
McCollum also shared some of her thoughts on how the team at UPHS-Marquette has handled some recent larger-scale emergency incidents over the last several months.
