Marquette, MI – September 17, 2024 – The United Way of Marquette County has named their co-chairs for this year’s annual fundraising campaign, Megan O’Connor and Jesse Renfors.
O’Connor is with WZMQ-TV, and returns for a second year as co-chair. Renfors is owner and operator of Provisions MQT, a coffee shop and light eatery that works with several community groups and non-profits.
The pair spoke about the campaign and their involvement today with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
O’Connor said the United Way of Marquette County’s annual campaign raises funds for 30 member agencies across the county.
Renfors explained why he got involved with this year’s campaign and what he’s learning so far as the co-chair.
O’Connor said that this year’s campaign has a goal set at $390,000 an people can find out more at uwmqt.org.
