Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow called in to the Sunny Morning Show today to recap her recent visit to the U.P. and to share updates on some key legislation she is involved with in Washington, D.C.
Stabenow talked about her stops in Escanaba and Gwinn last week and why she took time to visit the Delta County Drug Court and at the Upper Great Lakes Family Health Center and how both programs and their services work in health care for residents in the area.
She also talked about her recent conversations with President Donald Trump about the need for infrastructure improvements and upgrades around the country, and how infrastructure means more than roads and bridges, expanding into broadband internet access networks for rural communities and beyond.
