Like you, I have several people in my life who never really plan for anything.
Lunch during the work week is at the top of that list for many of these people. I keep harping on them the importance of bringing your lunch with you to work, simply based on the economics of it. Sure, $8.00 doesn’t seem like a lot to most people…..but let’s add it up to prove the point I’m making.
$8.00 (average) a day for lunch
5 days a week is $40.00
20 business day a month is $160
12 months in a year is $1, 920 annually for lunch.
Things you can do for $1, 920.00:
Take a week long cruise…spend 8 days at an All-Inclusive resort….fly round-trip to Amsterdam…build a small deck off your house….put a down payment on a new car….buy a high-end bike….buy season tickets to NMU hockey (for 4 of you)…I can keep going…..
