State Police at the Gladstone Post responded to a school bus and tractor-trailer accident yesterday evening at about 5:30 p.m. on US2/41 near the Escanaba River Bridge in Delta County.  Troopers say the tractor-trailer left a nearby paper mil and headed south on the highway.  A southbound Munising school bus, carrying the Munising Girl’s Basketball team to a game in Carney, crested a hill and driver said he was temporarily blinded by the setting sun and did not see the tractor-trailer in time to avoid rear-ending the semi.  Only one student sustained minor injuries, which were treated on the scene.  The driver of the bus was cited for failure to yield.
