Latest U.P. Wolf Hunt Numbers Released By DNR

Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Department of Natural Resources says a total of fifteen wolves have been killed in the first two weeks of Michigan’s first wolf hunt since the animals were removed from the endangered species list.

The hunt is scheduled to run until December 31st or until a total of 43 wolves are taken.

Hunters are limited to one wolf per person, and the hunt is restricted to three posted areas of the Upper Peninsula.
