Marquette, MI – October 9, 2020 – On the latest Upper Peninsula Health Plan update, Jennifer Wieczorek, Manager of Business Development with UPHP, joined Mark & Walt in the Morning to talk about the AEP, which stands for Annual Election Period.
Wieczorek explained how it applies to Medicare beneficiaries that wish to enroll in a Medicare Advantage plan, adding that it runs from 10/15/20 thru 12/7/20, with changes effective 1/1/21.
She also talked about what a Medicare Advantage plan is and why the AEP is important.
