Marquette, MI – April 3, 2026 – The Superior Health Foundation is getting the word out about the Rx Kids Program being expanded to serve all expectant mothers and families across Upper Michigan.
Murphy explained that program began in downstate Flint and rapidly expanded into areas around the state, including the eastern U.P., and this is the largest geographic expansion of any Rx Kids launch, reaching ten new counties.
Bates said Rx Kids is the country’s first community wide prenatal and infant cash prescription program, and families in Upper Michigan can enroll to receive a one time $1500 payment during mid pregnancy and $500 per month for the first six months of their baby’s life.
