Marquette, MI – November 11, 2025 – On our latest update with Active Physical Therapy, we heard about Pediatric Physical Therapy and it’s role as babies develop their crawling skills.

Alexis Betts, DPT – Physical Therapist at Active’s Marquette Clinic spoke about the therapy and more with Mark & Walt in the Morning.

Betts explained why crawling matters so much as babies develop, and why babies do skip it sometimes.  She also talked about some possible developmental red flags to watch out for as a baby develops in relation to how they crawl.

Betts added an outline of when and how pediatric physical therapy is called in to assist the development of a baby if needed.
