
Marquette, MI – June 10, 2025 – On our latest update with Active Physical Therapy we heard more about the technique of dry needling and using it to treat knee pain and osteoarthritis.
Kerkala, who works out of Active’s Ishpeming location in the Country Village, explained what dry needling is and how it is used as a treatment technique.
Kangas, who works out of Active’s Marquette location at Advantedge Sports Training, talked about knee osteoarthritis and how it relates to dry needling. He also talked about some other techniques used to address knee osteoarthritis.
Kerkala also described what a typical dry needling session and treatment procedure is like and what someone can expect if it is chosen as a therapy.
