Marquette, MI – September 20, 2024 – Upper Peninsula Health Plan and Superior Health Quality Alliance are hosting a series of senior-focused resource fairs and vaccine events across Marquette County next week.
Hanson explained that the events aim to connect community members aged 60 and older with valuable resources, health services, and vaccinations.
The events will take place at the following locations and times:
Monday, September 23 at the Marquette Senior Center, 300 W. Spring Street, Marquette from 10:00am to 1:00pm.
Tuesday, September 24 at the Ishpeming Senior Center, 121 Greenwood Street, Ishpeming from 10:00am to 3:00pm.
Wednesday, September 25 at the Negaunee Senior Center, 410 Jackson Street, Negaunee from 10:00am to 12:00 noon.
Friday, September 27 at the Forsyth Senior Center, 165 N. Maple Street, Gwinn from 10:00am to 12:00 noon.
Hanson said there will be information and services including vaccines, health education, mobility resources, and other community-based efforts that promote health and well-being.
The fairs aim to serve as a one-stop shop for local seniors seeking information and assistance from community organizations.
