Marquette, MI – January 25, 2024 – On our latest Active Physical Therapy Update we heard from Scott Corkin about plantar fasciitis, which is the most common cause of foot and heel pain.
Corkin explained that the plantar fascia is the thick band in the bottom of your foot that runs from the bottom of your toes to the front of your heel bone, and the condition is when it becomes inflamed and aggravated and causes pain.
He talked about both the cause and symptoms of plantar faciitis and what some good treatment options are to consider, including a planned regimen of physical therapy.
