Marquette, MI – January 24, 2024 – On our latest Wildcat Wednesday, where we discuss things happening at Northern Michigan University, we heard about the NMU CARE Team and what they do to help with wellbeing on campus and beyond.
Meier explained that the CARE Team is made up of people from student affairs, academic affairs, human resources, mental and physical health, student conduct, and campus safety with a focus providing resources for students, faculty and staff in need of support.
She added that the CARE Team works as part of an overall effort to further NMU’s commitment to wellbeing on many levels.
Meier closed out by saying that students, faculty and staff that go to the CARE Team don’t get in trouble, they get help.
