NEGAUNEE, MI – 4/29/2014 – As I said at the beginning of my U.P. Relevant Sports Week: April Showers may bring May flowers, but they sure don’t bring us baseball, or in this case, Miners Sports. Due to inclement weather (Mid-30’s with a mix of rain & snow IN LATE APRIL), all Negaunee Miners sports for today have been CANCELED. This includes the following:
- Boys Baseball vs. Houghton
- Boys Tennis @ Gwinn
- Girls Golf @ Manistique
- Girls Softball @ Ishpeming
- Co-Ed Track & Field @ Marquette
Hopefully the weather will turn around quickly so that we can get the sprig season going in full force. We’ll keep you updated on all of your Negaunee Miners Sporting Action because SunnyFM is Marquette County!
