Negaunee Keeps Rolling With a Win Against Gladstone (25-2)

Gladstone, MI – September 5th, 2025 – The Miners look to keep their momentum going from the big win over rival Marquette in the season opener. The Miners would strike first blood as Marshall Peters got the scoring going for the Miners. The Miners defense played an outstanding half stopping the Braves twice in the red zone. The Braves only point came after the Miners long snapper snapped it over the punter head which resulted in a safety. Evan Dallangelo shined again taking a punt return the field length to the end zone putting the Miners up 12-2 at the half.

The Miners would start the second half with Kyle Waterman throwing a five yard touchdown to Evan Dellangelo for his second TD of the day. The Miners defense would get the shutout after playing another great defensive half. However, the Miners weren’t done as it saw the Miners get in the end zone one final time putting the finishing touches on a 25-2 victory.The Miners will host Calumet next week with kickoff scheduled for 7:00 P.M.
