MINER LOGOBoyne City, MINovember 1, 2024 – The Negaunee Miners fought hard against the Boyne City Ramblers on Friday night, but ultimately lost their first round playoff contest 23-16 downstate.  Negaunee had touchdowns from Ian Engstrom and Ty Jacobson, with both followed by successful two-point conversions, but Boyne City’s Owen Hewitt and Ryan Spate proved hard to stop, with Hewitt finding the end zone twice and Spate once to down the Miners.

Negaunee finishes the 2024 campaign with a 6-4 record overall and a 5-2 conference mark, good for third in the West-PAC Copper division.  Stay tuned for Negaunee boys and girls basketball coming up this winter, with Carl Leander Johnson bringing you all the action on Sunny 101.9.
