Negaunee, MI – March 6, 2024 – The Negaunee girls basketball team defeated Kingsford 72-34 on Wednesday night to advance to the district final, but the big story in the game was Ella Mason, who became the all-time leading scorer for Negaunee Miners girls basketball. Mason is now only six points away from Tyler Jandron in her quest for the overall scoring record at Negaunee. Negaunee will play in the district championship game on Friday against the Sault Blue Devils in Sault Ste Marie.
