Iron Mountain, MI – November 30, 2023 – The Negaunee Miners boys basketball team dropped to 0-2 on the season with a 61-39 loss to the Iron Mountain Mountaineers on Thursday night. Despite a stronger performance than they displayed in their opener against Kingsford, Iron Mountain proved too much for the relatively young Miners.
Negaunee is off until Tuesday, December 5th, when they will host the Escanaba Eskymos for the first game at Lakeview Gym of the year. Tip time is scheduled for 7:15 and Carl Leander Johnson will have the call on Sunny 101.9 and online at sunny.fm.
