Hill gives Negaunee’s biggest lead of the night at 13 by draining a jump shot off the shoulder. Modeltowner Lena Pleaugh responds by taking the inbound pass and easily runs past the full court press for an easy layup, cutting the Miner lead down at 30-19.

With 2 minutes left in the quarter, Hill cleans up an offensive rebound and picks up a shooting foul, making the free throws. On the next offensive possession, Mason dribbles up and makes a quick jump shot taking the Miner lead to 39-20.
