Ishpeming held their lead at the start of the second quarter, but then things heated up for the Miners.

Thanks in large part to MacKenzie Karki, who scored 16 consecutive points for Negaunee in the second quarter alone, the Miners pulled ahead and entered into halftime with a 29-20 lead.
