NEGAUNEE, MI – 11/18/2014 – Well for the Negaunee Miners, the fall sporting season has come and gone. The winter teams have begun their try-outs or have begun their practice sessions for the upcoming season. Eleven teams will be sporting the Maize & Blue while representing the Negaunee Miners this winter. Gymnastics, Hockey, Swimming, two wrestling teams, and six basketball teams.
If you’d like to see who will be representing your city Miner fans, you’ll want to go to Meet the Miners! The event takes place at the beginning of each sporting season and is a way for people to see the new rosters of Miners sports, as well as help get organized for the upcoming seasons. There will be information on each individual season, administrative policies, and ways to find out how you can get involved with the Negaunee athletics program.
The event will be at the Negaunee High School Auditorium on Tuesday, November 25th at 6:30pm.
