Miners (5, 6) Pick Up Two More Wins Against Menominee (3) & Munising (2)

NEGAUNEE, MI – 9/18/2014 –The weather cooperated for the Negaunee Girls tennis team, and enabled them to pick up two more wins on the season to improve to 9-1-1.  The singles teams continued their dominance, not dropping a game in either meet.  According to Coach Saari, the doubles teams played, what he felt, was their best tennis of the season.  The results are as follows:

SINGLES vs. Menominee

In his post (vs. Munising) meet statement, Head Coach Kyle Saari had this to say:

“Today was a perfect day to play weather-wise.  Our four doubles played the best matches of their year so far.  There was a really nice match at #1 doubles too that will help us in the long run.  As a team, we’re very close to where we want to be.”

The Miners will be hosting the MPC meet next Wednesday, September 24th starting at 10am.  The season is wrapping up quickly, so be sure to keep up with all of the action with us here at Sunny.FM!
