
Negaunee, Michigan February 4th, 2016 – The Negaunee Miners Boys Basketball team hosted the Gwinn Modeltowners tonight. Jesse Anderson and Brady Guilbault were there to bring you all the exciting action from the U.P. Propane Broadcast Booth on Sunny.FM.
The Gwinn Modeltowners started the game throwing and making 2 free throw shots, because of a technical foul on the Miners due to a dunk during warm up. The Negaunee Miners gained on the Modeltowners early lead and led 8-5 with 4 minutes left in the first quarter on Sunny.FM. The Negaunee Miners ended the first quarter with a 18-10 lead over the Gwinn Modeltowners.
Brock Aho scored first in the second quarter, to give the Negaunee Miners a 20-10 lead over the Gwinn Modeltowners. The Negaunee Miners continued to dominate the court and led 27-12 with the second quarter half over. The Negaunee Miners ended the first half with a decent lead 35-15 over the Gwinn Modeltowners.

The Negaunee Miners continued to score in the third quarter and widened their lead 38-15, with a basket and one opportunity by Trent Bell. The Negaunee Miners continued to fast pace the Modeltowners throughout the third quarter and finished with a healthy 53-18 lead.
The Negaunee Miners continued to play excellent basketball and out scored the visiting Gwinn Modeltowners 59-21 to win the game. The Negaunee Miners Boys Basketball Team improved their record 13-0. GO MINERS !!
