Negaunee, Michigan — The Negaunee Miners Girls Basketball Team were up against the Gladstone Braves in this season opener on Sunny 101.9 WKQS. The Negaunee Miner Girls were at home on Tuesday night in this season opener of the 2012-2013 season.
Early in the game the score is tied at 3-3. With 5:16 left to go in the first quarter the score reads 9-7 with Negaunee leading the Gladstone Braves. Nearing the end of the first quarter the Negaunee Miners lead the Gladstone Braves 12-9.
