Jesse Anderson and Brady Guilbault, your trusty Negaunee announcers said “It’s a beautiful Friday night in Gwinn and we’re ready for some football!” Jesse and Brady ran down the stats during the Honor Credit Union pregame show, and talked about their predictions for the outcome of this game from McCormick Field in beautiful downtown Gwinn.
First quarter of action began from Gwinn. Brady said “I like the setting here at McCormick Field in Gwinn… you have the houses in the background, it’s really nice!” Brock Aho gets the first touchdown in the first quarter of action and lead the Gwinn ModelTowners 7-0! Dylan Tasson forces a 4th and 18 with about 7 minutes left in the first quarter of play. Eric Hurst throws a touchdown and scores for the Negaunee Miners 14-0 over the Gwinn ModelTowners. Second quarter of action the ModelTowners get on the board and continue to trail your Negaunee Miners 14-6. Gwinn was threatening to score in the second quarter. Jesse said “Negaunee’s defense needs to step it up.”Brady said “Gwinn is putting on one impressive drive out there!” Gwinn scores on their last drive and trail the Negaunee Miners 20-14 with 5 minutes left to go in the first half of action.
