This week from April 9th to the 13th is “Pay It Forward” week. It’s sponsored by the NMU Volunteer Center that encourages people to participate in random acts of kindness.
Some examples might be buying a soda or coffee for a person in line with you, helping out a charity, or helping clean a yard for someone in your neighborhood.
After each random act of kindness a card can be left behind as a reminder to help someone else. These cards are being handed out by the Volunteer Center staff, as well as being available at the circulation desk of the Lydia Olson Library in the Learning Resources Center and at the Volunteer Center in the University Center.
