February 14, 2012 – Enjoy a meal and a movie on Valentine’s Day at the Peter White Public Library on Tuesday, February 14.
The buffet style dinner is catered by local favorite, UpFront and Company, and begins at 5:30 pm. The film presentation for the evening is “Midnight in Paris” starring Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams and Kathy Bates.
Advance purchase tickets of $12.00 per person to cover the cost of the meal are required to attend this special event. Tickets may be purchased at the library circulation desk or by calling 228-9510 on or before February 13. Tickets will not be available at the door.
Released in June 2011, “Midnight in Paris” is a romantic comedy set in Paris about a family that travels there because of business. The party includes a young engaged couple forced to confront the illusion that a life different from their own is better.
Director Woody Allen received a Golden Globe award for this film which also has just received several Academy Award nominations. “Midnight in Paris” runs for 96 minutes and is rated PG-13.
