Negaunee, Michigan – November 16, 2018 – Seriously, I strongly dislike wearing my glasses.
I started wearing glasses when I was 9 years old, after my parents noticed I wasn’t able to read as well I had previously. So, long story short, one trip to the eye doctor led to me needing glasses.
I hated wearing them. So much so that my mom took me to back to the eye doctor and they discussed letting me begin wearing contacts.
Thankfully, I was able to pop them in and out like a pro after a couple of weeks. Now, 17 years later, it’s second nature to me. It’s just a part of my daily routine to put them in in the morning, and take them out at night.
My “current” glasses are 6 years old. Yea. They’re definitely not up to date. The reason for this is because I hate wearing glasses. And the lady at the eye doctor lied to me when she said I looked good in them, and I believed her. WRONG!!!
Anyways, I lost my last left-eye contact down the sink this morning, forcing me to wear my glasses until I can make it in to the eye doctor later this morning to beg for a sample pack of contacts to get me through until my contact order comes in. Whatevs. I’ll deal. But I’ll complain about it the whole time.
